I have two kids who love to play online games most of their free time. And, as an old school Mom, I have been against it for the longest time. However, my husband has been lenient about it, ensuring their games are safe and age-appropriate. And as time went by, I embraced some of its benefits and sometimes played cool online games myself. HA! Parents must understand online gaming to encourage their kids for safety and healthy habits in terms of technology.
We are all aware that online games are a form of entertainment; in today’s age, it is inevitable for kids not to be able to play one or two. With adults’ support and guidance, online gaming can benefit children in developing their logical thinking, building creativity, and (believe me or not) strengthening friendships (it is a whole new world, after all). However, it shouldn’t replace human interaction and physical activities. I am still an old-school mom who wants their kids to go to playgrounds, meet with friends, go to malls, hang out in the backyard, and do all the fun outdoor activities.
My kids started playing online games as early as 3yr old. We get them free online games that are educational and fun. We used Plays.org many times since you don’t need to download any apps; you play directly in the web browser. They’ve got thousands of free online games across hundreds of categories for kids and adults. When the kids were little, they loved to play those cartoon-looking games, but they wanted something more challenging as they grew older. So it has become our sitter, especially when we eat or travel. It also helps us cope with stress from work and daily life’s challenges.
Even though introducing your young kids to video games brings some hesitations and conflicting emotions, the earlier you talk to them about it and introduce them to educational and fun games, will most likely be a good idea. Like anything else in life, it is a learning process. The more open we are to discussions, the better for them to handle and navigate gaming and, hopefully, be more responsible in using it.
There are a lot of gaming websites that you can choose from and Plays.org has been one of our favorites. They frequently add new exclusive games; all their games are browser-based, and everything is mobile-friendly.
FYI: Opinions are my Own.
Online gaming has become a fascinating realm that effortlessly transports my child into exciting virtual worlds, fostering creativity and strategic thinking. As a mom, I appreciate the positive aspects of gaming, but I also ponder the behind-the-scenes magic that makes it all possible – gaming hosting servers. These unsung heroes tirelessly facilitate seamless gameplay, connecting players from across the globe in real-time. It’s like a digital playground where my child and fellow gamers gather, each click and command transmitted through these invisible conduits, creating an immersive experience that transcends geographical boundaries. So, here’s to the gaming servers, the silent architects of our digital adventures – making sure every encounter is smooth and every quest is undertaken without a glitch. As a mom, I find solace in knowing that these technological marvels contribute to a world of shared joy and camaraderie, all within the safe confines of the online gaming universe.
