As Spring Break approaches, many families are eagerly anticipating a family getaway. While some may fly out of town or go on a road trip, others may find paradise right in their backyard. For those seeking an unforgettable staycation, look no further than the Omni PGA Frisco Resort!
Nestled amidst the rolling hills of the former Fields Ranch, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is a haven for those seeking to unwind and reconnect without straying too far from home. From world-class amenities to an array of exciting activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
And hey… are you a residence of Frisco, TX? Well if you are then you’re one lucky resident because you get a special rate. Just show your ID when you check-in at the front desk. That rate can be booked here or check this link for other Special Offers.
One of the highlights of our stay during the Christmas Break was meeting Frisco’s own Dude Perfect crew (they have some special events, so make sure to check their website) and our family golf outing. We couldn’t resist the chance to dive back into the fun together! My kids have never gotten formal lessons but have had a few rounds of golf and some strokes at a driving range. Despite of this, they were eager to tee off again and make some memories.
The Swing is a 10-hole, par-3 only course with holes ranging from 45 to 100 yards. It offers stunning views and pristine fairways, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure. It was such a priceless moment for our family!
After our game, we decided to grab lunch at the Lounge at Topgolf, part of the Monument Realty PGA District. It is a sports bar offering state-of-the-art Topgolf Swing Suite technology and an exhilarating collection of virtual games. The Lounge is designed to provide guests with a comfortable and stylish space to relax, enjoy drinks and food, and socialize with friends and family.
Alternatively, you can indulge in a diverse array of refreshing drinks and delectable cuisine at the nearby Ice House; they offer six live-hitting bays equipped with cutting-edge Toptracer technology, providing breathtaking views of the fairways. This ranch-style venue is truly a golfer’s paradise.
Tip: Book your tee time for around 9:30 am. This way, you’ll finish just in time for lunch.
The pool was closed for the season during our stay, but it looked amazing from the room. Hopefully, we can swim and enjoy the pool next time. When open (call the Front desk to check), the pool has heated water and a cozy vibe; it’s the perfect place to unwind and make a splash with the whole family. The pool restaurant and bar service will be open seven days a week as Spring Break kicks into full gear. And, guests can reserve cabanas to add an extra touch of luxury and relaxation for an additional fee. It is the ultimate way to elevate your staycation to the next level of indulgence.
You cannot miss checking out the Mokara Spa during your visit. My husband and I opted for a soothing massage while the kids enjoyed some screen time to recharge. It was a peaceful break for us both after a busy day, and we felt refreshed and ready to continue our family adventures afterward.
At Omni PGA Frisco Resort, there’s something for everyone when it comes to dining:
