Wine & Magic…Yes please…

It was my Mom’s birthday and I was looking for a unique activity to celebrate it with her and the family. So, instead of going to a regular lunch or dinner, I decided to take her to watch a magic show. And what is a better way to watch it than with some wine and food!

We arrived early at Checkered Past Winery, and I thought to myself, “wow… what took me too long to visit this place, it’s so neat, and I love the ambiance”. Apparently, it was named “Best Wine Bar in Dallas” by D Magazine, serving quality Texas wines and craft beers. Before the start of the show, we got to order some food and drinks, and my husband got a few minutes to take some photos.

I have heard from fellow bloggers Trigg Watson and his magic are different from the usual magic stuff you find. He is the new breed of magician who uses his phone, iPad, and Amazon in his tricks. He is young, dynamic, fun, and witty and who has been traveling the world to do what he loves best, Magic!

His show is intended for everyone in the family so you can tag long your grandparents and the little ones; they are guaranteed to have some fun. My Mom, who just turned 72 had a great time, but my girl who is 8yr old had a blast! She got up to participate in the last trick of the day. Trigg is terrific with kids, my girl loved him and asked me after the show when were we going back again.
